Site Manager

Partnering with leading construction businesses to deliver high-performing teams.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of commercial fit-out projects across South Australia.

This position requires a confident and capable leader who can take ownership of site operations, drive performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site activities in line with project requirements
• Ensure compliance with EHSQ policies and maintain a strong safety culture
• Conduct site inductions and oversee daily operations
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage workflow
• Mentor and support Site Coordinators
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction programmes
• Lead site meetings and communicate progress and risks
• Manage site logistics including deliveries, storage, and amenities
• Monitor project performance and support financial outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, including Procore
• Drive quality outcomes and minimise defects
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience, including 2+ years in a Site Manager role
• Experience delivering commercial fit-out projects valued between $700K and $5M+
• Strong leadership and team management capability
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage buildability
• Experience managing programmes and subcontractors
• Understanding of head contracts and subcontractor obligations

Qualifications:

• Trade or tertiary qualification in construction preferred
• Current Construction Industry Card and Senior First Aid Certificate
• Proficiency in MS Office and project systems such as Procore
• Strong commitment to EHSQ principles
